\n\nABOUT THE ROLE
\nAs a Senior Product Designer at Samsara, you will provide critical design expertise and execution for strategic initiatives, delivering end-to-end experiences that impact customers and support key business objectives. You'll own design for a specific product area â with current focus on AI and agentic workflows and/or design systems supporting a major rebrand.
\nYou'll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, work directly with customers, and be expected to influence strategy and ship well-crafted designs that make operations more efficient, safe, and sustainable.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- \n
- Own the UX for a product area or surface, shipping high-impact designs that unlock significant customer and business value \n
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering on strategy, planning, and execution \n
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs, validate designs, and inform strategy \n
- Provide expertise and knowledge transfer to Samsara's internal design team \n
- Deliver all agreed-upon project deliverables on time and to spec \n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- \n
- 5+ years of product design experience designing UX/UI for web and mobile applications \n
- Strong interaction and visual design skills \n
- Portfolio and/or case studies showcasing design craft and ability to solve user problems with quantified impact â required to be considered \n
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Figma Make) \n
- Experience prototyping in real codebases; comfort working in GitHub \n
- Proven experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments \n
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills \n

- Curious, hands-on, and resilient â able to zoom out strategically and zoom in to deliver polished work \n
CONTRACT DETAILS
Hours: 40 hrs/week, no overtime
Location: Fully remote
Rate: $90-$110/hr
Start: ASAP
WORK LOCATION & ELIGIBILITY
\nThis is a fully remote contract role. Candidates must be based in a country where Samsara has an established legal entity.
